Elden Ring’s Most Popular Mod Now Works in Shadow of the Erdtree
Time to Engage in Jolly Cooperation in The Land of Shadows!
One of Elden Ring’s most popular mods now supports the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC in its latest build. The mod named "Seamless Co-op" created by LukeYui was released a few months after the game’s initial release back in 2022. The recent update is not 100% perfect and is currently in a beta state, with creator LukeYui stating in the mod page, "The mod is currently in an beta state, so you are very likely to experience bugs. If you do, please report them to me in as much detail as possible and I'll work to fix them for future versions." He also added that "If you are looking for a bug free experience, you won't find it in this version."
The Nexus Mods page of the mod lists the following in the latest changelog for version 2.0.0:
⚫︎ Increased player count to support 127 players (this has only been tested up to 15)
⚫︎ Modified the way clients initially connect with each other
⚫︎ Changed some mod icons
⚫︎ Fixed some inconsistencies with packet order
⚫︎ Added PvP, PvE, and boss rush modes
⚫︎ Removed the Varré quest line skip
⚫︎ Added visual effects to rot
