The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin Gameplay
As seen in the game’s trailers, gameplay resembles other 3D anime open-world titles, allowing players to explore a vast reimagined Britannia built in Unreal Engine 5, complete with diverse biomes, dynamic weather, hidden dungeons, treasures, and interactive activities such as fishing, cooking, mining, crafting, climbing, swimming, catching creatures, and solving environmental puzzles, all while traversing land, sea, and sky with the help of contraptions and friendly companions.
Combat unfolds in fast-paced, real-time battles against formidable enemies and massive bosses, with players building teams from a diverse roster of heroes—each boasting unique abilities and fighting styles. You can freely switch between party members to unleash devastating combos, mixing and matching both an all-new cast of original characters and fan-favorite heroes from The Seven Deadly Sins. The game supports solo play or cooperative multiplayer with up to five players, letting you explore maps, clear dungeons, and tackle powerful encounters together.
As revealed in an interview with the game's executive producer, Do-Hyung Koo, the game is set to encompass a 30-square-kilometer-wide open-world map that is fully explorable, made under the guidance of series creator Nakaba Suzuki. "We’re closely communicating with Nakaba Suzuki, the original creator of the manga. He created and drew the designs for the game’s new original characters, and advised us on the plot of the main story. So, while aiming to keep it within the canon of the original work, we also added our own original interpretation exclusively for the game," said Koo.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin Story Plot
The story follows Tristan, a young adventurer exploring the Kingdom of Britannia who becomes entangled in a multiversal crisis that threatens reality. As mysterious powers awaken within him, Tristan embarks on a journey through forgotten ruins, time-shifting battles, and world-altering events.
