Chaos Zero Nightmare Reaches 2 Million Downloads
Director’s Thank-you Gift
Chaos Zero Nightmare (CZN) reached over 2 million global downloads four days after its release, prompting its director to give back to the community as a gesture of gratitude. As announced on their official Twitter (X) on October 25, CZN players will receive a plethora of in-game rewards following its successful launch.
This includes x1,000 Crystals, x10 Advanced Promotion materials for each class, and x10 Potential materials for each attribute. Director Kim Hyung Suk also gave x500 Crystals as a welcome gift for fans alongside his Developer’s Letter on October 21.

Additionally, the CZN team gave x500 as compensation for the "connection instability, payment errors, and account-related problems" that fans experienced during the game’s launch. Despite these issues, the game continues to flourish and reach a huge milestone only four days after its release.
Here at Game8, we thought that CZN’s major highlight was its roguelike deck-building and horror elements of its story. To know more about our initial impressions on Chaos Zero Nightmare, check out our first impressions review below.
Enhanced Immersion, Improved Deck-Building, and More

Aside from the thank-you gifts, Kim also shared some of the improvements they are planning for the game. He began by apologizing to fans for the inconveniences they experienced during the launch, primarily due to server instability and certain content errors, and promised to be transparent whenever there would be an update or fix.
In terms of the story, Kim noted that fans wanted to have a more tragic and immersive world. "We’ve also had extensive internal discussions about aspects of the lore and narrative that didn’t fully meet your expectations. We promise to enhance immersion and strengthen the emotional connection you can build with the characters and the world," he explained.

Furthermore, there will be several improvements to be made to the game’s roguelike deck-building mechanics. These changes include reducing fatigue from repeated runs, a one-time Contribution Point system, more balanced exploration across multiple regions, and improving the Card Removal feature.
Kim also mentioned that they are currently preparing a detailed video guide to elaborate on more specific information on CZN’s first major update. He emphasized that they are constantly listening to feedback and are excited to enter the first season of Galactic Disaster.

Moreover, there are multiple online community events currently happening. Details regarding each event can be found on the Community Events Overview post on CZN’s official STOVE page.
