Launched in February on the Capcom Town website as Capcom's 'Super Elections,' the survey aims to gauge players' preferences across various aspects of the publisher's gaming universe. The survey kicks off with amusing questions wherein players can dream up special moves and envision themselves as part of the Capcom universe.

It quickly delves into juicier inquiries, asking players their favorite Capcom games and characters. Notably, one question directly asks them if there are any Capcom game series they wish to see revived or receive new installments.

While the survey outcomes do not confirm development plans for any specific sequels or remakes, Capcom is keen on gathering feedback from its fan base. Based on the responses of over 200,000 players, Dino Crisis emerged as the frontrunner for revival, followed by Mega Man, Resident Evil, and Ace Attorney.

Dino Crisis, originally released in 1999, garnered a dedicated following with two mainline sequels, a spin-off title, and a mobile FPS in the early 2000s. Despite its cult status, the franchise has been dormant for two decades.

In a 2017 interview with the Daily Star, Capcom Producer Masachika Kawata, who worked on all three mainline Dino Crisis games, expressed enthusiasm for reviving the PlayStation classic with contemporary gaming tech. "I think if you were to create Dino Crisis with modern gaming technology it would be a really exciting prospect," Kawata told the news site, though added that he was not aware of any internal plans to revive the series.
