Arknights: Endfield is a spin-off of Arknights, a free-to-play tactical RPG and tower defense game first released in 2019 that features gacha-based mechanics. While set in the same universe, Endfield is intended as a standalone title rather than a continuation of the original game.
While Hypergryph has not yet detailed the full contents of the broadcast, the special program is expected to outline final details surrounding Arknights: Endfield’s release, potentially including the official release time, gameplay overviews, system explanations, and launch-related announcements.

Arknights: Endfield is set on Talos-II, a newly introduced, largely uninhabitable planet within the Arknights universe. Players take on the role of the Endministrator, leading exploration and settlement efforts for Endfield Industries. The gameplay shifts away from the tower defense format, focusing instead on open-world exploration, real-time combat, and base-building.
The game also allows a full party of up to four characters to participate simultaneously in the field, with direct control during combat. Progression is supported by base-building and resource management systems, with players able to construct structures such as refineries, relay towers, and zip lines to automate processing and improve map traversal. These systems expand through a tech tree that unlocks more advanced options, allowing players to optimize layouts and improve efficiency over time.
Arknights Endfield is set to release globally on January 22, 2026 on PlayStation 5, Epic Games Store, iOS and Android. For more info about the game, check out our article below.
