Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties is an action-adventure RPG developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio (Yakuza Series) and published by SEGA. Described as a "two-in-one experience", Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties includes a full remake of Yakuza 3 which was originally released in February 26, 2009 and Dark Ties, a brand new game that features the perspective of Yakuza 3’s main antagonist, Yoshitaka Mine.
Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties will be released on February 12, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 4.

Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties Gameplay
Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties tells the stories of former Tojo Clan chairman Kazuma Kiryu and Tojo Clan lieutenant Yoshitaka Mine in a dual feature experience. Yakuza Kiwami 3 is a remake of Yakuza 3 that promises more fluid combat, an additional fighting style for Kazuma Kiryu, an upgraded power-up system, new game modes, and even more mini-games. Outside of the main story, Kiryu will be tasked with managing both Morning Glory Orphanage. Players will be tasked with a variety of hands-on work from farming, sewing, cooking, and even helping children finish their homework.
In addition to working at the Morning Glory Orphanage, Kiryu will also act as the leader of the Haisai Girls biker gang. Players can turn the gang into a more formidable force in the Ryukyu Islands by training them, recruiting more members, and engaging in turf wars.
Dark Ties, on the other hand, will focus solely on Yoshitake Mine’s past. Players will prowl the streets of Kamurochō as Mine, taking down thugs and rivals with his shootboxing-inspired fighting style and acrobatic skills. During his time with the Nishikiyama Family, Mine will need to investigate a series of mysterious incidents collectively known in-game as "Good Deed Quests" and take down an underground fight club dubbed Hell’s Arena.
The game will also offer both classic Yakuza and Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties-exclusive mini-games for players to enjoy outside of the main story, substories, and other game modes.
