Super Meat Boy 3D Overview
Super Meat Boy 3D is the third major entry in the brutal and hardcore platforming series from Team Meat. In this latest iteration, the series moves on from its traditional 2D side scrolling roots into a full fledged 3D environment, opening the floodgates for even trickier levels.
Despite the radical shift to 3D, the game still maintains its fast and precise platforming, as players control the eponymous Meat Boy while he runs, jumps, slips, falls, wall jumps, and dodges his way to survival.

Super Meat Boy 3D Gameplay
Super Meat Boy 3D’s gameplay remains largely the same as its predecessors. Players are still assuming control of this coat of red meat getting squished, skewered and crushed. However, instead of the traditional 2D side scrolling format, the game shifts into 3D with a wider variety of platforming challenges to overcome. It is still incredibly difficult, brutal, and punishing for players, but that has always been the game’s main gimmick.
This third major entry will include the same types of game modes as before, featuring brutal precision based gameplay, instant respawns, time trials, and boss fights.
