STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT Overview
STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT is a remake of the hit sci-fi adventure visual novel, STEINS;GATE. Originally released in October 2009 for the Xbox 360, STEINS;GATE became an incredibly popular visual novel—one that received several adaptations, spin-offs, and even a sequel, STEINS;GATE 0.
STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT will bring players new scenes, redesigned characters, improved graphics, and system optimizations for new devices. The full scope of what the remake entails has not yet been revealed, but we will keep this page updated.
There are no confirmed platforms yet for STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT, but STEINS;GATE was originally released for the Xbox 360 before it was released for PC. Eventually, it was released on all major platforms available at the time, right up to the PlayStation 4 and mobile devices. Judging by past releases, it would be safe to assume that STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT will be released for the Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.

STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT Gameplay
STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT follows traditional visual novel mechanics, the bulk of which emphasizes story and dialogue with opportunities for choice and interaction. The original STEINS;GATE allowed players to choose to call characters, send D-mails, and respond to them. These decision points make up the STEINS;GATE’s "phone trigger system."
Not much has been confirmed about any additional gameplay features for this reboot, but stay tuned for any future updates!
