Roadside Research Overview
Roadside Research is an upcoming first-person co-op simulation game developed by Cybernetic Walrus, expected for Early Access on PC (Steam) in Q1 2026, and will also release on Xbox Series X|S. Players take the role of undercover aliens, managing a seemingly ordinary roadside gas station to gather research data on humanity for an impending invasion secretly.
The chaotic solo or up to 4-player co-op gameplay requires players to perform standard gas station duties while managing a suspicion meter and secretly using alien tech for data collection. A dual upgrade path allows investment in both the station and alien tech.
