MACROSS -Shooting Insight- Overview
Macross -Shooting Insight- is a shoot 'em up action game and the latest entry in the series based on the sci-fi anime. Players will take on galaxy-spanning missions and experience an entirely new story not part of the anime. When multiple dimensional folds suddenly occur across space-time, both pilots and songstresses are mysteriously transported to Battle 7.
You'll play through six different stories from various perspectives to help save the galaxy. The game was released in Japan on March 14, 2024, but its North American and European release, originally set for December 6, 2024, has been delayed with no updates on a new release date.

MACROSS -Shooting Insight- Gameplay
MACROSS -Shooting Insight- is a shoot ‘em up that will have different directions, such as horizontal, vertical, and 3D scrolling. You will pilot your ship or mech and shoot at opposing enemies flying in to complete levels and earn high scores.
Each pilot has different ships and mechs with different stats, so you must carefully choose which pilot's story you will go through as they go on their quest to rescue their songstresses.
