This prequel follows Kratos during his youth, fighting against mythical figures from Greek mythology with his brother Deimos. The pair will undergo harsh training in the Agoge, where they must learn to harness divine power to survive.
The game's story was written by Santa Monica Studio's writing team, who worked on 2018's God of War and its 2022 sequel, Ragnarök. It will also feature TC Karson, adult Kratos' voice actor, as the narrator of Sons of Sparta.
