Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream is an upcoming isometric adventure stealth title developed by River End Games and published by Nordcurrent (also known as Nordcurrent Labs). Announced in June 2024 and set to release on July 2025, it is the debut game of River End, a compact studio whose founders bring experience from AAA titles like Battlefield, Mirror’s Edge, and Little Nightmares.
In Eriksholm, a fictional Nordic city inspired by early-20th-century Scandinavian aesthetics, players follow Hanna, an orphan whose brother Herman vanishes after stealing an artifact. Her pursuit draws in police attention, which plunges both siblings—and eventually Hanna’s companion, Alva and Sebastian—into a conspiracy that threatens their family and the future of the entire city.

Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream Gameplay
Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream employs an isometric, stealth-puzzle framework where players switch between three characters: Hanna, Alva, and Sebastian. Each character brings distinct movement and interaction skills. For instance, Hanna can crawl through tight spaces and use sleeping darts. Alva, on the other hand, can climb pipes and deploy distractions like pebbles or slingshots. Sebastian, meanwhile, can swim and incapacitate foes.
Stealth is central to progression. Detection by enemy guards immediately places players back to the nearest checkpoint. Levels incorporate environmental elements, like breakable lights and noisy vents that can serve as distractions. Players must use shadows, cover, and context-sensitive inputs to remain undetected.
