MultiVersus is the blockbuster gathering of everyone’s favorite characters under Warner Bros., from Superman and Batman, to Rick and Morty, to Finn and Jake from Adventure Time, and even… Lebron James?! Everyone and anyone is here, ready to kick some butt in this multiversal fighting game!

MultiVersus Gameplay

MultiVersus is a platform fighter akin to the widely-beloved Super Smash Bros. series, where all characters are handpicked from the IPs under the Warner Bros. umbrella! MultiVersus emphasizes team-based gameplay more, setting their primary mode being 2v2 battles. In turn, all characters have specialized movesets that adhere to their franchise’s skills in both offense and defense, allowing great versatility during gameplay.

MultiVersus will have crossplay right from the get-go, allowing players from all platforms–PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One–to all join in the same battle and prove who among them is the best! In order to have smooth and fun gameplay, the game will have Rollback Netcode! It will also be free-to-play with a paid game pass for exclusive items and cosmetics.

The official gameplay trailer reveals information about several characters’ combat classifications, more tag-team gameplay footage, and loads of various costumes and cosmetics for all characters to switch in and out to!

Official Cinematic Trailer - “You’re with Me!”

The cinematic trailer starts with Batman as he’s teleported alongside Shaggy to do battle with Bugs Bunny and Arya Stark! It then showcases how the oddest pairings of characters will have to work together, combine their powers, and defeat the star-studded cast from all corners of the Warner Bros Multiverse!

Official First Look Reveal Trailer

The first look reveal trailer is narrated by the developers of the platform fighter, where they describe their attention to detail and care for the game’s development. MultiVersus is their own take for a platform fighter that emphasizes 2v2 gameplay, with characters being accurately depicted in accordance with their abilities, characteristics, and voices.
