Dubai Launches Gaming Visa Program
Initiative Aims to Provide Long-Term Visas and Make Dubai A Global Leader in Gaming Industry
The Dubai Gaming 2033 initiative, approved last November by the Crown Prince of Dubai Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, strives to generate over 30,000 fresh gaming-centric jobs, elevate GDP by $1 billion, and position Dubai as a frontrunner in gaming revenue on the global stage.. Recently, Dubai unveiled the Gaming Visa initiative, intending to furnish employment and training prospects with international firms and academic institutions.
Prospective candidates interested in obtaining the Creative and Talented Accreditation Certificate must initiate the process by submitting their application via the official website. Applicants need to be 25 years old and above and must furnish a copy of their passport as well as their "professional CV."
Upon approval by Dubaigaming.gov, the certificate will be issued to them; however, it's important to note that approval or permit issuance from Dubai Culture does not constitute final approval. Rather, it represents a conditional approval as part of the requisite procedures to obtain further approvals "from local and/or federal authorities concerned with issuing the visa."
