Venus Vacation PRISM - DEAD OR ALIVE Xtreme - is an immersive dating simulation where building relationships with six characters from the Dead or Alive series is the player’s goal. As the manager of the Venus Islands, players engage in interactive episodes where choices influence the progression and outcomes of each relationship.
There are six female characters who players can interact with:
⚫︎ Misaki, the shy part-timer who wants to be close to the player.
⚫︎ Honoka, the secretly gentle schoolgirl who comforts the player.
⚫︎ Tamaki, the mature and sexy beauty who seduces the player.
⚫︎ Fiona, the naive princess who falls for the player.
⚫︎ Nanami, the naturally cool beauty who shows interest in the player.
⚫︎ Elise, the cool and beautiful instructor who is strict with the player.
Throughout the game, players may be invited on dates with the characters, leading to fully-voiced, animated sequences. These dates present opportunities to observe and photograph candid moments, such as character’s expressions or reactions.
Players can preserve their favorite photographs as mementos through the Photo mode.This feature enables players to document moments with the characters. It offers adjustable filters and lighting options. Photographs taken can be submitted within the game to attract fans for the Venus Festival. Achieving certain milestones in regards to fan numbers unlocks new outfits for the characters.
Venus Vacation PRISM also incorporates minigames. In Hand Sumo, players rapidly press on-screen prompts to destabilize their opponent, potentially leading to unexpected physical closeness upon victory. Another activity, Water Fight, allows players to select two characters to engage in water splashing on the beach. Targeting specific areas causes their outfits to become wet and translucent. The narrative, then, may shift depending on which character receives more attention during these activities.

In Venus Vacation PRISM, players assume the role of the manager of the Venus Islands, a tropical paradise where summer is everlasting. The game centers on building romantic relationships with six distinct characters.
Misaki is portrayed as a shy part-time staff member who is always by the player’s side. Honoka is depicted as a comforting, laid-back schoolgirl with a secret. Tamaki is characterized by her mature and seductive beauty. Fiona is introduced as a naive princess who falls for the player. Nanami is a naturally cool beauty who shows interest in the player. And Elise is a strict yet beautiful instructor who maintains a cool demeanor.
The game’s narrative structure is choice-driven, meaning the story unfolds based on the decisions players make during interactions with the characters. These choices lead to various outcomes.
