Steel Paws Gameplay
Steel Paws is a beat ‘em up action adventure game where players battle their way up a mysterious tower. Players control the protagonist through waves of robot opponents using only simple touch controls. Combat involves hack-and-slash mechanics, with the ability to charge up special attacks and use items like barrels and bombs while accompanied by their Buddy Robots, mechanical animals that assist in combat.
The game progresses through a series of floors within the Tower, each presenting unique environments, hazards, traps, and puzzles. As players ascend the Tower, they encounter new challenges and guardians that must be overcome to advance. Between stages, players can interact with NPCs to acquire items and upgrade their Buddies with new parts and skills.
Steel Paws features a progression system where defeated enemies yield resources that can then be used to improve the player character and their Buddies. Even if players fail a stage, they retain any earned loot and experience. Moreover, some elements within the stages are randomly generated, so no two runs will offer the same challenges and rewards.
Steel Paws Story Plot
Steel Paws’ story revolves around a young girl and her robotic companions, known as Buddy Robots, as they explore a mysterious tower that emerges once every century. The narrative is expected to focus on the growing bond between the protagonist and her robotic allies as they work together to overcome the tower’s challenges.
