Silver Palace Gameplay
Combat
Similar to other open-world action gacha RPGs like Genshin Impact and Wuthering Waves, players can instantly switch between party members in real-time and make use of a combination of normal attacks, skills, and ultimate abilities against their opponents. The diverse roster of characters means that players will be able to take advantage of an equally large variety of skills that can shine in different situations and in teams with good synergies.
However, based on the game’s 10-minute gameplay showcase, combat seems to emphasize timing and precision, with a parry system that rewards well-timed blocks. There are also Quick Time Events (QTEs), which enables players to execute high-damage combos and finishers.
Elements and classes will come into play, but it is still unclear how exactly they will factor into battles.
Stealth, Investigation, and Exploration
Stealth appears to be a significant aspect of Silver Palace. Players can approach situations with discretion, to either incapacitate enemies quickly or interrogate them to gather information.
One notable mechanic involves the use of a syringe to eliminate targets. This syringe appears to be a usable item, and selecting that option results in the loss of one unit per use.

The game also has an investigation system. Players can examine buildings, bulletin boards, and non-playable characters (NPCs) to obtain information that may be pertinent to quests. In story mode, players may also be prompted to observe the appearance of key characters upon meeting them, allowing them to deduce crucial information about these characters during quests.
When investigating NPCs strolling about in the overworld, there will be times where some enemies may disguise themselves as civilians. If there are any undercover enemies in the vicinity, the "Danger Radar" will light up depending on the player’s proximity to these enemies. Examining these disguised beings and exposing them will initiate combat.
Like Neverness to Everness, Ananta, and Wangyue, players can make use of various traversal methods to quickly go about the game's world. There’s an option to use mounts, such as a flying celestial horse, grappling hooks to zipline across different areas, and Ascender/Descent Devices to reach higher or lower areas more efficiently.

Silver Palace Story Plot
Set in the "Golden Age of Detectives"

Silver Palace is set in the industrialized metropolis of Silvernia, a city where magic and machinery coexist. Here, players take on the role of a Detective who returns to Silvernia after three years of absence in order to investigate the death of someone precious to them. They will later be tasked with unraveling a mystery involving Silverium, a sought-after power source, and reports of charred corpses piling up. Players—as the Detective—will soon find themselves embroiled in danger, conspiracies, and political power struggles.
As the story progresses, players will come to know the Detective’s past, including the "disaster" that drove them out of Silvernia years before their return, and the truths lying in wait for them.
The Detective will also meet valuable companions along the way, such as the clumsy yet earnest Alf, a member of the Maid Institute, Society, and Services (MISS) who joins the Detective as an assistant; and the bartender Argos whose sharp ears, keen eyes, and disarming personality will serve as assets to the investigation.
Silvernia on the Cusp of a New Era

Silver Palace’s plot begins in Silvernia, whose rapid development can be traced back to the discovery of Silvernium, an element that revolutionized technology and transformed everyday life. Its discovery triggered a wave of innovation that drew people from all walks of life into the city.
Under centralized administration, the industrial exploitation of Silverium propelled Silvernia into prominence as a hub of invention and opportunity. However, this progress also sowed the seeds of unrest, as the pursuit of Silverium’s power led to various factions vying for control over the said resource. These factions include corporate powerhouses, underground crime syndicates, royal affiliates, and cultists, each with their own agenda and secrets.
