Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted Gameplay

Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted retains the classic tower defense gameplay where players must protect the house with plants against waves of zombies. This side lane adventure requires unique strategies to defend the backyard against brain-eating zombies.
Other vintage game modes such as Wall-Nut Bowling also make their return, alongside new game modes that have yet to be disclosed. Moreover, an all-new hardcore mode, Rest In Peace, features a permadeath option where players are sent back to the start of the story if they lose during the playthrough.
Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted Story Plot

Since the game is a remaster/remake of sorts, Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted follows the same story as the original. Zombies attack the players' lawn, and with the help of Crazy Dave and his outlandish idea of using plants as a defense system, they fend off to save their brains from getting munched.
As players accomplish each level, taunting notes are left by zombies, which eventually culminate in an all-out war against Dr. Zomboss. The story continues with players going through different areas, obtaining new plants, and experiencing more craziness.
