Mario & Luigi: Brothership Story Plot
Mario & Luigi: Brothership take brothers Mario and Luigi on a seafaring adventure into the open seas as they help the inhabitants of Concordia reconnect its broken islands after the Uni-Tree that once connected the islands becomes destroyed. Mario and Luigi board the ShipShape Island, a part ship-part island cruise ship, to travel across the vast expanse of Concordia, solve puzzles, fight off enemies and the "Extension Corps" led by a trio of troublemakers—Ecks, Ten, and Shun, and ultimately help the locals grow the Uni-Tree.
Mario & Luigi: Brothership Setting
Mario & Luigi: Brothership is set in Concordia, a once singular interconnected continent of islands that's home to creatures that look like power plugs. Concordia is made up of various drifting islands that range from lush jungles, tropical rainforests, sprawling desserts, to bustling cities. These islands are accessible using the cannon mounted on the Shipshape Island cruise ship. The main islands of Concordia are composed of Lushgreen Sea Islands, Color-Full Sea Islands, Brrrning Sea Islands and Gulchrock Sea Islands, all of which are made up of various, smaller islets. Each location are filled with locals bursting with personality, as well as the trio of rascals, Ecks, Ten, and Shun, known as the Extension Corps.

Each brother has a chance to act against enemies, and damage output can be increased by forming combination attacks when both Mario and Luigi are in action. Besides combat, you will also have to guide the two brothers across the seas across islands full of obstacles and adventure. Likewise, players are required to complete quests by clearing main objectives to unify the drifting island and link it to the Shipshape Island. As the Uni-Tree becomes reconnected, new side quests and areas will be unlocked.
Combination Attack
In Mario & Luigi: Brothership, players will face off against monsters across various islands. Securing a victory will depend on how effectively players can use Mario and Luigi’s combined skills. With Combination Attacks, Mario and Luigi can perform their basic "hammer" and "jump" attacks at the same time if the command buttons are pressed at the right moment. Meanwhile, if either Mario or Luigi are down, the input command will be a solo attack.
Bros. Attack
The "Bros. Attack" is a set of powerful moves that consume Brother Points (BP) and can significantly impact the outcome of battle. There are various types of Brother Attacks that can help players deal massive damage to an enemy—ideal for boss battles. Both Mario and Luigi have their own unique sets of Bros. Attacks. Mario's Bros. Attacks include moves such as Red Shell, Hatch Me if You Can, Bomb Derby, and Clockout Blow. Meanwhile, Luigi's includes Green Shell, Yoo Who Cannon, Zapperator, and Jump Helmet.
