Level Zero: Extraction weaves a tale of peril, mystery, and unspeakable horrors. Step into the boots of an elite PMC mercenary, embarking on treacherous raids to extract valuable loot while clashing with rival mercenaries for the same mark. Creep through decaying laboratories, ever wary of lurking monstrosities. Alternatively, embrace your inner predator as a formidable alien monster, tearing apart any PMC mercenaries who dare to disturb your hunt until no mortal remains.

Level Zero: Extraction Gameplay

Level Zero: Extraction blends classic extraction shooter mechanics with immersive survival horror, throwing squads of elite mercenaries against player-controlled aliens in a fierce battle for loot. As a mercenary, you and your team of three will venture into decaying structures to extract valuable loot, including weapons, tradable goods, and mission objectives. This loot can enhance your current combat capabilities or unlock new perks, extraction zones, and gear for future missions. However, each extraction zone has limited loot, leading to intense clashes between mercenary groups—assuming the aliens don’t get to them first.

For those who prefer a more predatory approach, you can play as a deadly alien creature, an apex predator capable of hunting down entire squads of mercenaries. Utilize powerful abilities like acid spit, invisibility, EMP waves, and sonic screams to decimate your foes. Although mercenaries greatly outnumber the aliens, their bullets are ineffective against alien physiology. Only light can harm the aliens, and flares are in short supply within the extraction zone.
