LEGO Voyagers was just announced at the Summer Game Fest 2025! Read on to learn how it plays, what it's about, and everything else we know so far.
LEGO Voyagers Gameplay
LEGO Voyagers centers entirely on two-player cooperative puzzle-platforming, presenting both local split-screen and online modes. Players each control a LEGO brick, navigating brick-built environments that include jungles, rivers, scrapyards, and highways. Every movement—tumbling, jumping, snapping together—is governed by physics that reflect each brick’s small size.
Thus, gameplay emphasizes creative problem-solving. Instead of guided direction, players assemble interactive machines—such as tram cars, catapults, and even rocket ships—to progress. The systems feel open-ended: bricks can join, detach, and recombine in multiple configurations to explore the world and unlock traversal options.
Players must coordinate actions—timing jumps, aligning builds, and maintaining constructions under stress. This interdependence extends far beyond splitting tasks; it's about leveraging two bodies in space to create dynamic solutions. The Friend’s Pass system even allows a second player to join without owning the game, underscoring the design’s cooperative priority.
LEGO Voyagers Story Plot
LEGO Voyagers opens with two brick friends embarking on a mission to rescue an abandoned spaceship stranded deep within a vibrant LEGO world. Throughout their journey, the bricks develop a deeper understanding of collaboration and mutual support. They tackle challenges not through dialogue, but via shared overcoming of obstacles.
