HYPNOSYNC Gameplay
HYPNOSYNC is a free live service rhythm game where players take on the role of a manager tasked with hypnotizing customers into spending more money. It features a four-lane vertical scrolling format, with notes represented as five different colored “willpower” types that all appear on the same lanes, requiring precise timing and quick recognition. Players must break a target’s willpower as soon as it reaches the break line. Reaching Daze Mode marks the point where hypnosis is at its strongest and allows players to destroy Daze Challenges for rewards.
Clearing Daze Challenges grants Daze Tickets, which are used in the game’s gacha system, the Deep Dive Draw. The Deep Dive Draw features a single standard banner, where each pull has a 5% chance of granting a character and a 95% chance of awarding EXP items. There is no rarity. After 100 draws, players can select a character directly. Some pulls can also be earned through skill by completing challenges on the hardest difficulty in Daze Mode. Characters have special skills that assist during hypnosis sessions, and leveling them unlocks additional display options and features.
HYPNOSYNC Story Plot
The game opens with the player being welcomed—somewhat ominously—by Nezzie, the energetic and teasing boss of HYPNOSYNC. As a new hire, the player is introduced to a workplace where hypnotizing customers is not just encouraged, but expected. Despite the playful delivery, Nezzie makes it clear that the player doesn’t really have a choice. The game also includes an intro and a main story featuring original songs, which is still in development and presented in a visual novel style using 3D models.
