Highguard Gameplay
Highguard is a first-person PvP shooter that blends fast-paced combat with strategic objectives. Players take on the role of Wardens, using a variety of weapons, abilities, and mounts to engage enemies and interact with destructible environments. Terrain can be altered through abilities or explosives, creating dynamic combat situations.
Players can summon mounts and fight from them, slide into action, and perform executions on enemies they’ve already taken down. Abilities shown in the trailer cover damage, shielding, crowd control, and advanced traversal, including opening portals through walls or breaking them entirely. Matches revolve around key objectives that require careful planning and teamwork: players can acquire a sword to summon a massive battering ram, use it to break through enemy gates, and ultimately plant a bomb to secure victory.
Highguard Story Plot
Players assume the role of Wardens, powerful fighters who clash with rival Wardens in battles for territorial control. Beyond this core premise, Highguard has not yet revealed detailed narrative elements such as factions, character backstories, or an overarching plot.
