Etrange Overlord Gameplay
Etrange Overlord resembles popular RPGs of the 2010s such as Ni no Kuni and the Tales series (Tales of Xillia, Tales of Berseria) with its emphasis on exhilarating combat mixed with elements of real time strategy. Players can deploy up to 4 characters in the battlefield at the same time whether with the in-game AI or with their friends. They have the freedom to build and pick units with the best team synergies out of a fairly sizable roster of over 15 playable characters.
Outside of its classic action RPG mechanics, Etrange Overlord also introduces its unique "revolving lane mechanic" that players can freely customize as part of their battle strategies. This lane is present on all stages and essentially acts as a field-wide conveyor belt that carries power boosts and valuable items. Characters can also make use of the moving lane to reach another corner of the battlefield.
Etrange Overlord Story Plot

Etrange Overlord begins when the falsely accused Lady Étrange von Rosenburg is sentenced to death by her fiancé for the assassination of his father, the king. Determined to make the most out of her afterlife, the headstrong and ambitious Étrange decides to form an army powerful enough to take over hell.
