Cronos: The New Dawn Gameplay
As a third-person survival horror shooter, resource management is a must, as there will be limited ammo and supplies available. Players will have to forage and scavenge for them, even manipulating temporal Anomalies to carve out a route through the barren landscape. There is also the danger of hostile creatures lurking about in the shadows—making snap decisions in combat can spell the difference between life and demise.
The nightmarish creatures that lurk the wastelands of the future are formidable foes, with the ability to Merge together even when one of them has already fallen. These mutated versions of themselves are much stronger and tougher than their former counterparts, posing a much harder challenge and a higher chance of failure.
Cronos: The New Dawn Story Plot
This grim Eastern European and retro-futurist world fell to the throes of The Change, a devastating event that changed humanity forever. As a Traveler working for the mysterious Collective, players are tasked with the mission to find time rifts in their desolate and ravaged present-future to gain access to the past. Their current reality is one of a wasteland, overtaken by the monstrosities that prey on both their brethren and any human.
The Traveler is given the mission to locate special key people and intellects from the past who unfortunately have perished in the catastrophe, and bring their Essences into the future. Their knowledge may just be the key to reviving humanity.
However, their Essences, their souls, affect the person transporting them too. The more of them in a Harvester suit, the more haunted that very suit becomes. While it enhances the wearer’s combat capabilities by a tenfold, they would also have to live with the madness and insanity that comes and goes ever so often.
Will the Traveler and the Collective reach their goal…before it's too late?
