Clockwork Revolution Gameplay
Clockwork Revolution is a first-person RPG where players will be able to fully customize and construct their characters from the ground up. Specifics have not yet been divulged, but the developers promise that the game will be an RPG through and through.
Combat has been mentioned to be completely dynamic, and will make use of time-related abilities, all alongside the aforementioned RPG mechanics.
Clockwork Revolution Story
Clockwork Revolution takes place within the metropolis of Avalan, a Victorian-era-inspired city filled with a futuristic industrial revolution aesthetic– steampunk. Though the city thrives with its technological advancements and economy, it has been meticulously tempered with by the ruling Lady Ironwood, placing her as the most powerful. Lady Ironwood utilized a device that allowed her to travel back in time and influence certain events that caused her to be at the forefront of success. She prevents a revolt by continuously separating the lower working class from the means to ascend to the upper class, making the poor poorer, and the rich richer.
Players will create and control a fully custom character who will be able to acquire one of the time travel devices, a Chronometer, in order to change history as everyone knows it. However, choices players make drastically affect the future, showing the full breadth of Butterfly Effect.
The protagonist must carefully go back and forth between the past and the present in order to topple Lady Inglewood’s reign of terror, but also provide a harmonious future for all.
