Clockwork Revolution Gameplay

Clockwork Revolution is a first-person shooter RPG where players will be able to fully customize and construct their characters from the ground up. Combat is completely dynamic and makes use of various time-traveling abilities that play with the player character’s traits and attributes.
Player Customization
Physical Features

The game features robust character customization, letting players tailor their own Morgan Vanette’s appearance and background. The rebel’s body type, facial features, hair, skin color, and apparel are at the player’s control.
Backgrounds and Traits

Players can also dictate their character’s background, from being a rebellious orphan, a booksmart son of a sociolocist, an alley rat, or even a gearsmith. Each background will provide Morgan with a set of traits at their disposal during gameplay.
Attributes

The game will also let players specify Morgan’s attributes, such as having high endurance, agility, or being sociable. These give a variety of effects, such as increasing their maximum health, better critical chance, or paying less for items in shops.
Weapon Crafting and Modification

Players can craft and modify their weapons with the use of materials. They can be outfitted with shorter or longer barrels to either deal more damage or shoot farther, use different steam-propeller receivers to change damage falloff and control, or suppressors to reduce noise.
There are six stats that weapon modification is centered around: damage, rate of fire, accuracy, range, ammo, and subtlety. Crafting weapons will require materials like gun parts, cylinders, or machined gears.
Time Travel Glove

One of Clockwork Revolution’s defining features is the ability to change time. Players will obtain a glove that will allow them to manipulate time, letting them cross a variety of obstacles and even revert destroyed structures to their former state.
When taking a fatal enemy bullet, players can use the glove to wind back time and do things differently. Players can also return their own bullets to their weapons and reuse them as ammo.
Clockwork Revolution Story

Clockwork Revolution's narrative is driven by player choice, deciding the fate of both characters and their landscape. With time travel, they can also go back to the past to make significant changes to the present.
Clockwork Revolution Setting

Clockwork Revolution is set within the metropolis of Avalon, a Victorian-era Steampunk city, both characterized by its progress and regress. The elite enjoy the spoils of technological advancements while the working class and below struggle to put food on their plate.
Though the city "thrives", it has been meticulously tampered by the ruling Lady Ironwood, who has used time travel to turn herself into a wealthy and powerful figure known across Avalon.
Clockwork Revolution Plot

Players take on the role of Morgan Vanette, a member of the Rotten Row Hooligans, as they steal a device from an elite known as Lord Griswick. While navigating through the complex life in the slums, they eventually stumbled upon the secret of Lady Ironwood: that she had traveled back in time and influenced certain events that shaped the brutal and unfair metropolis as it is now.
Finding a glove that gives them the power to manipulate time, they are determined to reshape Avalon as they see fit. Their choices will dictate the flow of the story, and changes to the past would spill into the future, creating a world under their terms.
Clockwork Revolution Characters
Morgan Vanette

Morgan Vanette is the player’s customizable character and the rebellious protagonist of Clockwork Revolution. Serving also as the leader of the gang, the Rotten Row Hooligans, hey are wanted for a lot of crimes in Avalon, including rackets, violence, larceny, illicit occupation, tricks, espionage, and perhaps their worst one yet, lurking. Lord Griswick is their latest victim at the start of the game, having something of value from him.
Morgan would later discover that a figure known as Lady Ironwood had altered history to enrich herself while keeping the people of Avalon weak and impoverished. Gaining the power to turn back time, it is up to them to decide how to fix Ironwood’s wrongdoing.
Lady Ironwood
Lady Aurora Ironwood is the antagonist of Clockwork Revolution who altered time to shape Avalon in her image. Using time travel, she made herself wealthy and powerful and eventually rose to the position of Chancellor and head of Avalon’s Industrial Council. Under her rule, she has left the people to starve and fend for themselves, prompting Morgan to alter time to undo her self-serving timeline.
Uncle Alfie

Uncle Alfie is a disgruntled shopkeeper and one of the Syndicate bosses. Through conversation choices made by Morgan, Alfie would kill an employee named Errol, showing how brutal and violent he can be.
The Pissed-Off Doll

The Pissed-Off Doll, or Duke Pomphrey, is a small and foul-mouthed automaton that Morgan will encounter during his adventures. The developers state that Pomphrey can potentially play a larger role in Clockwork Revolution depending on the choices made by the players.
Lord Griswick

Lord Griswick is one of the elites in Avalon and one of the latest victims of Morgan’s thievery. He is quite cold-hearted, needlessly kicking a small sweeping robot on his way to report the crime to the constable. It is through his description of the gang member that the players will be able to customize them.
