AMEDAMA Story Plot
Yushin and his sister Yui live peaceful lives as they run the local umbrella shop in their village. However, on one faithful rainy day, a group of men raid the store and kill Yushin in front of the young girl before abducting her. Still, even death itself seems unable to stop Yushin – who discovers he has the ability to possess living beings. In under seven days before his soul fades away, he must now utilize this newfound power and track his sister’s whereabouts, no matter who or what he has to possess.
AMEDAMA Gameplay
AMEDAMA will be a side-scroller sandbox action game, where you will be able to possess a wide variety of living things and become them. From innocuous animals such as frogs and dogs, to normal unsuspicious townsfolk.
Possessing armed warriors will let you be able to wield their skills and weapons in combat. From dual-wielding blades, a two-handed katana, and a lethal sai, you will be able to possess all kinds of people with distinct weapons. The game also has a parry system that allows you to deflect enemy attacks with perfect timing, leaving them stunned and open for any counterattacks.
Throughout your journey, you will be met with various special characters with special dangerous lethal techniques that will prove a challenge to battle. They will either help you, or stand in your way.
