Aces of Thunder Gameplay
Aces of Thunder has players pilot fighter aircraft from a first-person cockpit view in VR. Combat revolves around maneuvering, positioning, and managing aircraft performance, with speed, altitude, and turning radius directly affecting how the plane handles.
Weapons are aimed using the aircraft’s sights and cockpit instruments, requiring players to maintain visual contact with targets and carefully time attacks. Dogfights take place across expansive environments, with players needing to balance aircraft control while fighting against enemies.
Players can engage in a single-player campaign with structured missions and objectives, or join multiplayer matches to face other pilots in competitive dogfights.
Aces of Thunder Story Plot
Aces of Thunder’s single-player campaign comprises a series of historically themed aerial combat missions spanning both World War I and World War II. Players take part in a variety of scenarios such as escorting bombers, attacking enemy airfields, and leading strikes against major targets like the battleship Yamato.
