Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Story Plot
Once a year, the Paintress paints her cursed number, and everyone at that age fades out of existence. This number ticks down after every year, where tomorrow she’s expected to paint "33." Follow Gustave, Maelle, and the fellow members of Expedition 33 as they embark on their desperate quest to destroy the Paintress and stop the cycle of death once and for all.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Gameplay
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 features an innovative take on the turn-based RPG genre, as it introduces a real-time aspect to the combat. Dodge, parry, and counter attacks in real time. Chain combos by learning the rhythms for each pattern, and target enemy weak points by using the game’s free aim system.
Created in a fantasy world inspired by Belle Époque France, the game is inspired by the cult classic turn-based JRPGs that came before it like Suikoden, Golden Sun, and Final Fantasy.
