Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Story
Once a year, the Paintress paints her cursed number, and everyone at that age fades out of existence. This number ticks down after every year, where tomorrow she’s expected to paint "33."
Expedition 33, a desperate group led by Gustave, Maelle, and their companions, sets out to end the Paintress’ reign of death. Their mission is to destroy her monolith and break the cycle that has brought despair to their world. Along the way, they uncover the fates of earlier expeditions, confront the mysteries of their own mortality, and forge unlikely bonds as they face seemingly insurmountable challenges.
Players explore the Island of Visages, the Forgotten Battlefield, and other haunting locales, encountering surreal adversaries and uncovering the hidden histories of their world.
