Tekken 8 - Season 3 Character and Stage Pass Releasing in March 2026
The third and upcoming wave of DLC fighters for Tekken 8 was unveiled on February 1, 2026, at the Tekken World Tour Finals. The Season Pass is slated to release sometime in March 2026, beginning with the return of Kunimitsu to the game. The full DLC lineup includes Kunimitsu, Bob, Roger Jr., and a fourth character as well as a stage that hasn't been revealed yet. All of the DLC can also be purchased separately, with Season pass holders also unlocking new characters 72 hours ahead of their release.
Tekken 8 - Season 2 Character and Stage Pass Released April 3, 2025
The second wave of DLC fighters for Tekken 8 hashave all officially been released as part of the Season 2 Character and Stage Pass, which comes with the Pac-Pixels and Baobab Horizon stages. Season 2's DLC fighters include Anna Williams, Fahkumram, Armor King, and newcomer Miary Zo. All of the DLC can also be purchased separately, with Season pass holders also unlocking new characters 72 hours ahead of their release.
Tekken 8 - Season 1 Character and Stage Pass Released April 5, 2024
Tekken 8's first wave of DLC fighters hashave officially been released as part of the Season 1 Character and Stage Pass, which comes with the Genmaji Temple stage. Season 1's DLC fighters include Eddy Gordo, Lidia Sobieska, Heihachi Mishima, and Final Fantasy 16 protagonist Clive Rosfield. These characters, as well as the stage, can be purchased separately as well. Season pass holders can unlock the character 72 hours ahead of release.

Is Tekken 8 on Xbox Game Pass?
No, and it won't be there on release day. Since Tekken 7 was included in Xbox Game Pass after a few years, it could be expected that the game may come in the future. Don't expect it to stay forever, though, as even Tekken 7 was removed after some time.
Is Tekken 8 on PS Plus?
No, Tekken 8 is currently not on PS Plus. Since previous entries like Tekken 2 and Tekken 6 are currently available on the service, it is possible that Tekken 8 will be included a few years down the line.
Is Tekken 8 on Nintendo Switch Online?
No, the game will not be available for Nintendo Switch Online.

September 14, 2022
Tekken 8 was officially revealed in Sony’s State of Play in September 2022, showcasing Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima fighting in the trailer.
December 9, 2022
More of Tekken 8’s story was revealed as it marked the return of Jin’s mother, Jun Kazama, after being absent from the mainline games since Tekken 2.
December 14, 2023
The official story trailer was released before the game's release, showcasing the Mishima saga and the different characters involved in the story. Alongside this, Bandai Namco has been steadily releasing character trailers for each of the fighters included in the base roster.

Bandai Namco revealed the game’s opening movie as well as a surprising reveal of the game’s first DLC character, Eddy Gordo.

The first season of Tekken 8 is revealed, as well as the game’s second DLC character, Lidia Sobieska.

Heihachi Mishima is revealed to be the third DLC character for Tekken 8, and he will be accompanied by an additional Story Mode explaining the events of his survival and what the other characters were up to during Jin and Kazuya’s climactic battle.
