Joker from Persona 5 has been confirmed to be coming to Persona 3 Reload as an optional boss fight in the game's Challenge Battle mode.
March 6, 2024
An Expansion Pass was announced during an Xbox Partner Preview livestream on March 6, 2024. This offers three waves of DLC. The first wave, released on March 12, 2024, introduced nostalgic music tracks from Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal. Wave two, arriving on May 31, brought Velvet Room costumes and new tunes. Finally, the games' epilogue, "Episode Aigis: The Answer," will conclude the story on September 10, 2024.
According to P3R producer Kazuhisa Wada in a Famitsu interview, including Kotone, the female protagonist from Persona 3 Portable, in the game's epilogue would have been too resource-intensive. Given the project's timeline and budget constraints, the development team decided to prioritize other content.

Persona 3 Reload is set to launch on February 2, 2024. Alongside this announcement, a trailer was released showcasing the SEES team's new appearances and a fresh soundtrack. Pre-order bonuses various editions of the game were also announced.

Atlus released gameplay footage for Persona 3 Reload at Anime Expo 2023, which includes first look at the new English voice cast.

Persona 3 Reload was officially unveiled at the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase with a realease of "early 2024." Its debut trailer showcased combat and visuals reminiscent of Persona 5. The game’s producer, Ryota Niitsuma, also confirmed that Persona 3 Reload will not include the content the epilogue "The Answer" from Persona 3 FES and the female protagonist from Persona 3 Portable.
