Fear the Spotlight is now finally coming back on October 22, 2024 for PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. It was first released on Steam back in September 2023 for "significant update", now after a year long wait, the game is finally returning!

Fear the Spotlight received a release date of October 22, 2024 during PlayStation's September State of Play.
June 8, 2024
Fear the Spotlight resurfaced during Summer Games Fest 2024. The developers announced that Blumhouse Games will help with publishing the game. They also said that those who bought the original game on Steam will receive a free upgrade to the updated version.
October 27, 2023
The developers took Fear the Spotlight off Steam. According to them, they'll "be adding console versions, improving translations, offering more languages, and (most excitedly) adding some new gameplay."
