Bandai Namco announced an official world tournament for DRAGON BALL Sparking! Zero named: The Dramatic Showdown Tournament. There will be a total of 16 different players from 16 different regions who will be using 16 different characters chosen at random, in a format designed to be fun for both competitors and spectators alike.

The game’s DLC 2 to be included in the Season Pass was revealed to be Dragon Ball Daima characters, specifically Glorio, Vegeta (Mini), and more.

DRAGON BALL Sparking! ZERO is officially released for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

The game’s official release date was officially announced to be October 11, 2024. Bandai Namco has also periodically shared trailers of the characters to be included in the game’s base roster. Additionally, it was shared that the game will have a Season Pass, including characters from the latest movie Dragon Ball Super HERO, specifically Gamma #1 and Gamma #2.

DRAGON BALL Sparking! ZERO was first revealed after the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour Finals back in March 5, 2023. It was announced that the game was going to be a successor to the Budokai Tenkaichi series, where the last game was released back in 2007.
