Delta Force Release Date and Time
Released for Global Open Beta for PC This December 5, 2024, Q1 2025 for Others
Delta Force finally released for PC (Steam, Epic Games) on December 5, 2024! Meanwhile, other platforms such as PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Mobile (Play Store, App Store) will have an official launch around Q1 2025.
The game's Global Open Beta features full-live service content updates and no more progress resets. Players can now experience the first season, dubbed "Genesis," which introduces a new Operator, fresh game modes, and unique maps for both Warfare and Hazard Operation. The Global Open Beta will also offer a variety of new content, including weapons, vehicles, appearances, UI, mechanics, servers, languages, and more. While the open beta will feature paid content like Battle Passes and cosmetic items, the developers promised that there will be no-pay-to-win elements.

Delta Force Demo | Steam Next Fest
Delta Force had an open downloadable demo available on its Steam page for its participation on the Steam Next Fest that was held from October 14 to 21. No invites were needed, and everyone who had a legible Steam accounts were able to try the game ahead of time before its impending release.

Closed Alpha Has Ended
Delta Force's closed alpha test concluded on September 8, 2024, wiping out all accumulated progress over the past month. Since then, the developers have confirmed that there will no longer be more closed tests, where instead the next step will be moving fully into open early access for the PC sometime late 2024.
Closed Alpha Ended on September 8
Delta Force Closed Alpha Playtest finally ended on September 8, or Sept 7, 8 p.m. EDT / 5 p.m. PDT for the United States. The final ten days of the closed beta held tons of festivities. Check out their Steam Blog Post for the whole detailed list.
Notably, they handed out over 300,000 Steam keys across different social medias and platforms from August 30 until the alpha's closing.

PC Alpha Went Live on August 6, 2024!
The Delta Force PC Alpha Test went live at around Aug 5, 9 p.m. EDT / 6 p.m. PDT.
On August 30, however, the developers announced that the Alpha Test closes on September 8, or Sept 7, 8 p.m. EDT / 5 p.m. PDT for the United States.
Fans were able to try their hands at getting into the Alpha Test through the following avenues:

July 24 Update: New Alpha Test Date Announced
Delta Force announced the new date for the delayed Alpha test for this coming August 6, 2024! Fans were able to try their luck into getting in either through their official website, through the official Steam page, or by getting keys through Twitch drops or giveaways.
One example of a giveaway was posted on their official Twitter/X account, where 100 lucky winners received codes for the Alpha test.
July 16 Update: Alpha Test Postponed
From the aforementioned pre-alpha test that took place from July 11 - 15, they were able to discover several critical errors that inhibited gameplay for the small subset of players who were able to participate in it. Therefore, the developers unfortunately had to postpone the July Alpha test as they worked on fixing the game to "ensure you have the best experience possible."
Initially Scheduled Alpha Test
Delta Force will be holding its Alpha Test this coming July 18 with no disclosed date of conclusion. Fans can try their hand in getting access either through their website by filling out player surveys, by requesting access in their official Steam page, or by watching content creators on Twitch.tv to receive Steam keys as Twitch Drops!
Do note that the title underwent a pre-alpha test right now from July 11, to 15, as a means for the developers to stress test before the actual test, and so they allowed an influx of a small subset of players to play with them during this time. Requesting access on all available avenues might've granted early-early access.
The Alpha Test was only on PC from the game's official client or through Steam. Gaining access to one platform doesn't beget access to the other, as cross-progression is not an implemented feature for the alpha test. During gamescom ONL 2024, the game officially rebranded back to just 'Delta Force,' ommitting the 'Hawk Ops' title.
August 6, 2024
Delta Force commenced its invite-only Alpha test in early August 2024, which lasted over a month until early September 2024.
June 8, 2024
Delta Force: Hawk Ops made an appearance at the annual Summer Game Fest, showing off more of its upcoming modes, as well as a global playtest coming in the next few months.
October - November 2023
Delta Force: Hawk Ops held a closed pre-alpha PC playtest in China, where players were able to have firsthand experience with the new futuristic setting of the series.
August 23, 2023
Delta Force: Hawk Ops was formally revealed to being development on August 24, 2023 on the developers’ official channels, showcasing a modern take of the classic FPS game.
