Launched by Daylight on June 14, 2016
Dead by Daylight officially launched on June 14, 2016 for the PC. A year later, it came out for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 20, 2017. Afterwards, it received a Nintendo Switch version that came out on September 24, 2019 that allowed crossplay between all platforms. Finally, the game found its way to modern consoles of the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 on November 10 and 12, 2020, respectively.

Dead by Daylight Mobile Has Been Discontinued by Nighttime
On April 17, 2020, a spin-off mobile port titled ‘Dead by Daylight Mobile’ was launched for iOS and Android devices. However, after nearly five years on January 16, 2025, it has been removed from official App Stores, where its servers are planned to be shut down by March 20, 2025.
