Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC Release Date
Releasing in Fall and Winter 2023
Announced during the Pokemon Presents on February 27, 2023, The First Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC, Hidden Treasure of Area Zero will be a two-part DLC that introduces a new region called Kitakami, Blueberry Academy, and two new legendary pokemon. The DLC does not have an exact release date, but it is scheduled to launch in Fall and Winter 2023.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC Contents
The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 1: The Teal Mask
DLC Part 1: The Teal Mask takes the players on an outdoor school trip to the land of Kitakami held between their academy and another school. It is located outside the region of Paldea and will have a festival of various street vendors and stalls to explore. Players can play the DLC Part 1: The Teal Mask once they started the Treasure Hunt in Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet.
The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2: The Indigo Mask
In DLC Part 2: The Indigo Disk, you will travel to a sister school of their previous one, Blueberry Academy as an exchange student. It is located under the ocean and will prioritize Pokemon Battles. Players must reach the ending of Pokémon Scarlet or Violet and complete the Teal Mask before being able to start the second part of the DLC.
Two New Legendary Pokemon in the DLC
The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC will add two new Legendary Pokemon in the game. The first legendary Pokemon that would appear in the DLC Part 1: The Teal Mask will be Ogerpon. It wears a mask resembling an oni or ogres from Japanese Folklore. The Legendary Pokemon, Terapagos debuts in the second part of the DLC. It has a turtle-like appearance with a jewel-like shell that shows different pokemon types.

Players can buy the The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC for $34.99 in the Nintendo eShop. It will include both The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk DLC expansions.
