On January 18, 2023, The Official Twitter of Koei Tecmo America announced that the upcoming turn-based JRPG, Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & The Secret Key, will be delayed, pushing its initial release date from February 22, 2023 to March 24, 2023. The official statement includes a message from the game’s producer, Junzo Hosoi, explaining that the game requires additional time to improve graphics and give a fitting finale for Ryza and her friends.
Surprisingly, the announcement appears to be well received by the series' fans as it demonstrates how committed the creators are to provide a satisfying conclusion for the final and much-anticipated third arc in the Atelier Ryza Saga rather than releasing a game that players would likely not enjoy.

Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key follows the alchemist, Reisalin Ryza Stout as she embarks on a new adventure to investigate mysterious keys and a set of strange islands that have been affecting their hometown, Kurken Island.
Players can explore the four regions without the loading screen transition and select up to five characters from 11 party members to engage in team combat. They can also use different types of keys to help Ryza in her exploration, synthesis, and battle and build their own atelier that will serve as a base for their adventure. Ryza will be joined in each atelier by her companion, Puni. With their appearance altering based on the food they eat, players will be able to feed and nurture them into the Puni of their choice.
