According to Disgaea 7’s official website and an announcement from Nippon Ichi Software of America, Disgaea 7 will be available for purchase in North America on October 3, 2023 at 10AM PST or 1PM EST. It will then be followed by a release in the European regions on October 6, 2023 and finally in the Australia and New Zealand regions on October 13, 2023.

Disgaea 7 Story Plot
Disgaea 7's story is set in a netherworld called the "Hinomoto Netherworld Cluster" It is a collection of Japanese-styled netherworlds that have had their "Bushido" taken away by the tyrannical demon Opener.
To regain their netherworld's lost honor, the odd duo of a samurai named Fuji and an otaku named Piririka must set out on a journey spanning all of Hinomoto to obtain the legendary "Seven Weapons of Lost Origin." These god-killing armaments famed for their power may hold the key to defeating the corrupt shogunate.
Disgaea 7 Gameplay
Disgaea 7 will feature its time-tested, classic Disgaea gameplay. Imagine any grid-based SRPG such as Fire Emblem Heroes mixed with the excessive animations of Dragon Ball Z, and you'll have a pretty good idea of what to encounter in Disgaea 7.
It will feature a handful of new features, such as Jumbification, Hell Mode, and Item Reincarnation. Jumbification is a way to SUPERSIZE your characters, letting them enjoy massive buffs to their range, entirely new skills, and the ability to simultaneously target entire groups of enemies. They can also target any part of the stage, which will be a crucial ability in certain areas.
Hell Mode gives your character a burst of power during a fight. Once you fulfill certain conditions in combat and fill a character's Hell Gauge, you can unleash mayhem on your opponent's ranks with extremely powerful abilities - and net more experience, too!
Item Reincarnation, meanwhile, asks the very important question to its players: have you ever been annoyed by that gum that gets stuck under your slippers? Item Reincarnation has your back by allowing you to turn the gum into your slippers! Indeed, only your imagination is the limit here!
