Fourteen years before the events of Gears of War, Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago faced the subterranean monsters of the Locust Horde. Gears of War: E-Day puts the players on that fateful day marked as Emergence Day in order to relive one of gaming's most celebrated franchise's beginnings moment by brutal moment.

Fable Slated For A 2025 Release
The legendary Fable series is making a comeback! The trailer features an interview with the retired great hero, Humphry, who reminisces about the past with his protégé, the player character. The interview is cut short when the player character interrupts with a chilling statement—She's back.
A dark threat now looms over Albion, and it's up to you to be the hero that everyone needs and to save the world from its imminent destruction.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Releases October 25, 2024
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is the seventh entry in the Call of Duty Black Ops sub-series, scheduled to be released for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on October 25, 2024.
This installment follows a spy action thriller narrative set in the early 1990s, a period of transition and upheaval in global politics, characterized by the end of the Cold War and the rise of the United States as a single superpower.
Apart from the campaign mode, Multiplayer will feature 16 new maps at launch, including 12 core 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6.

DOOM: The Dark Ages Announced for 2025
A new chapter of the Slayer’s bloody history has been revealed with the announcement of DOOM: The Dark Ages. Seemingly set in an era predating the fall of Earth and Mars, DOOM: The Dark Ages sees the Slayer donning his iconic Super Shotgun with a brand-new returning chainsaw shield.
A plethora of new weapons were showcased in the game’s official trailer, including a gun that uses skull shards as projectiles, a plasma rifle, a flail, and a stake launcher. Newly teased gameplay mechanics include shield charges, parries, dragon riding, new bosses, and even your own Slayer Mecha!

Life is Strange: Double Exposure is the next entry in the critically acclaimed narrative adventure series, Life is Strange, and will feature an all-new supernatural murder mystery narrative. The game brings back the series’ first antagonist, Max Caulfield, as she finds her new friend, Safi, dead in the snow.
To save her, Max tries to Rewind time – a power she’s not used in years… Instead, Max opens the way to a parallel timeline where Safi is still alive and still in danger.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure launches on the PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S on October 29, 2024, and comes to the Nintendo Switch at a later to-be-announced date.

FragPunk Trailer Announces 2025 Release
Change is coming to the world of competitive online shooters with the rule-breaking, stage-modifying, and reality-bending mechanics of FragPunk. Don’t like the rules? Change them! With FragPunk’s unique blend of 5v5 arena shooter mechanics and real-time card modifiers, no arena will ever stay the same for too long.
Change the direction of gravity and fight your enemies from the ceiling; spawn in some grass so you can stealth your way to safety; make enemy heads bigger to make those long-range plays easier; all these real-time arena-wide modifications and more come in the form of cards you can activate in the middle of a firefight. Mixtape Reveal Trailer Released
Mixtape is a narrative adventure game from Beethoven & Dinosaur, developers of BAFTA award-winning game The Artful Escape. The game draws inspiration from classic coming-of-age movies, and will heavily feature narrative vignettes that capture "the greatest hits of teenage friendship," from the first kiss to the last dance.
Follow the story of a group of three friends on their last night of high school, and play through a mixtape of memories, featuring music from DEVO, Roxy Music, Lush, The Smashing Pumpkins, Iggy Pop, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Joy Division, and many more.
Mixtape will launch Day One in Game Pass in 2025, and be available for the PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5.

Atomfall Coming In 2025!
Atomfall is a first-person survival game set in a post-nuclear crisis Britain. Players must use a combination of old-fashioned equipment to modern weaponry in order to fight off enemies, which include giant mechs and glowing mutants. It was inspired by real-world events that happened in northern England in 1957.
Atomfall will be released on 2025 for Xbox Series X|S and PC. It will also be on the Xbox Game Pass on launch.

Mecha BREAK Closed Beta Coming This August!
Mecha BREAK is an upcoming action sci-fi game featuring giant mechas. Each of the mechs can be customized freely, allowing for diverse gameplay and builds that suit their player’s needs. The game supports squads of 3 or 6 players in a massive battle royale of up to 60 players simultaneously. The newest trailer on the Xbox Games Showcase revealed that the game will have a closed beta in August this year for PC and Xbox Series X users.

State of Decay 3 Official Gameplay Trailer Revealed
State of Decay 3 is an action survival game set in the post-apocalypse of United States fallen to the undead and Undead Lab’s latest addition to the State of Decay franchise. First announced in 2020, the game’s official gameplay trailer was finally revealed during the 2024 Xbox Games Showcase, unveiling newer graphics and a decidedly more serious tone compared to the series’ previous entry.

South of Midnight Gameplay Trailer Sets 2025 Release
Dive feet first into the murky waters of the Southern Gothic world of South of Midnight, an upcoming third-person action-adventure game from Compulsion Games. Come play as Hazel, a newcomer to the fantastical world of Prospero, where the big critters and even bigger folklore run free among the reeds of the Southern Wetlands.
Battle through various folk creatures, including massive gators and hulking monstrosities. Run, jump, climb, and glide across the dense vegetation of this otherworldly realm, but be careful you don’t become gator food.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows First Gameplay Look!
We got our first look at AC Shadow’s gameplay where we saw our protagonists Naoe, a shinobi from the province of Iga, and Yasuke, an African samurai who is AC’s first playable historical figure. The gameplay showcases the difference between the characters as Naoe is primarily stealth-based while Yasuke uses brute force. The trailer shows us different locations to explore in 16th-century Japan. We get to see Naoe traverse buildings with a grappling hook and her parkour skills as she takes down guards with her hidden blade.
We then switch perspectives with Yasuke who goes through a bunch of Shogi doors and fights off a number of guards. His gameplay is more head-on and seems to have a parry system where he must strike and guard at the right time in order to swiftly kill his foes. The end of the trailer shows us both the protagonists teaming up to bring “justice back to the people.”
A full gameplay trailer will be revealed tomorrow during Ubisoft Forward starting 12pm PT. Assassin’s Creed Shadows is set to launch on November 15 for Xbox Series XIS!

Dragon Age: the Veilguard New Trailer Revealed!
A new trailer for Dragon Age: the Veilguard was shown where we meet the seven members of your team each with their own lore waiting to be discovered. You must rally the Veilguard and defy the corrupt gods so that you can break free from the centuries of suffering and darkness. This will be a herculean task but don’t worry, you’ll have your team of different classes to back you up! From an assassin to a necromancer, every member is there to back you up to face down demons, dragons, and all those who stand against you!
The trailer for Dragon Age is a dynamic mashup showcasing your team. It starts in a bar with Harding the Scout in a brawl, hitting someone with a beer. Next, it cuts to Neve, the detective, displaying her ice powers, followed by Lucanis the Mage Killer taking down a fleeing victim. Belara the Veil Jumper is then shown being ensnared by tentacles, and Emmrich the Necromancer summons an army of undead. Davrin the Warden appears next, battling a pack of demons with his Griffin. The trailer culminates with Taash the Dragon Hunter fighting a massive dragon, and finally, the playable character, hooded and masked, joining the team as it then cuts to them fighting a horde and a dragon.
Dragon Age: the Veilguard is set to release this fall 2024 and can be wishlisted in the Xbox store.

Fallout 76: Skyline Valley Expansion Set for June 12
Fallout 76 is expanding its Appalachian charm with its first-ever map expansion, Skyline Valley! Travelling southwards towards the new Shenandoah region, Fallout 76’s Skyline Valley expansion sees the player investigate the cause of a mysterious electrical storm circling overhead. Finding refuge in the nearby Vault 63, the player can discover new locations, mysteries, and enemies, including a new ghoul type called "The Lost".
The Skyline Valley expansion also introduces a new storyline where the player takes the role of a ghoul in early 2025. Fallout 76: Skyline Valley will be available for free to all Fallout 76 players on the Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam (PC) on June 12, 2024.
World of Warcraft: The War Within Expansion Launch Date Revealed
The dawn of a new saga is at hand in World of Warcraft’s newest expansion, The War Within! First announced in late 2023, The War Within Expansion’s release date has finally been revealed to be on August 26, 2024, at 3:00 PM PDT/6:00 PM EDT.
To commemorate the release of a new expansion, the Welcome to Azeroth Bundle DLC has been made available to all new players on the game’s official website. Specific story points, new features, areas, and questlines are yet to be revealed but be sure to update when more information is available so stay tuned!
