Taoqi Comes Back Into The Spotlight
Since she was a playable character during Wuthering Waves' Technical Test in 2022, many people have had their eyes on Taoqi. According to her profile, she is a young Resonator who oversees the border defense of Jinzhou at the Ministry of Development. Aside from her fantastic character design, her tanky, parry-centric playstyle and ability to support other Resonators have attracted much attention.
With the game's ongoing development, different Resonators have seen significant improvement in their overall design compared to their Technical Test versions. This is particularly visible with Danjin, whose Resonance Liberation (ultimate) animation has been enhanced with more striking visuals.
Fortunately, fans didn't have to wait long. Coming in as Wuthering Waves' sixth Resonator Profile Reveal, Taoqi has finally returned to the spotlight. Though the reveal only provides a glimpse of her pre-final rendition, including her idle pose, normal attack, Resonance Skill, and Resonance Liberation animations, it's enough to give an idea of what form she'll take once the game releases within the coming year.
