Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Developer Updates

Paradox Focusing On Bug Fixing, Stability, and Performance

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will be delayed once again, with the new release window in October 2025. Bloodline 2’s official Twitter (X) account posted on March 26 the announcement of the game’s release and a video update.

Bloodlines 2 Executive Producer Marco Behrmann talked on the video about the current status of the game’s development. He revealed, "The status of the game right now is that the game is done.We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance so we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases."

Paradox has been posting Dev Diaries over the past couple of months to inform the players of the game’s development, which includes characters, stories, and mechanics. However, as of writing, all Dev Diaries will be paused so that the developers can focus on elevating the game.

First Revealed in 2019

Bloodlines 2 was first revealed in March 2019 and was slated for a March 2020 release. The game was originally made by developer Hardsuit Labs. However, it was announced in October 2019 that it would be delayed to an undisclosed date in 2020, then further delayed to 2021.

Within that period, multiple leads left the project. In February 2021, Paradox Interactive announced that Hardsuit Labs would no longer work on the game and would instead be replaced by developer The Chinese Room. This time, Bloodlines 2 was expected to release in late 2024, pushed back to the first half of 2025, and now late 2025.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is set to be released in October 2025 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. To stay up to date with the latest news about the game, check out our article below!
