Ken Masters and Chun-Li Are Coming to Fatal Fury City of the Wolves
Revealed during the SNK Special Program in Tokyo Game Show 2024, the first two DLC characters of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves will be familiar faces from a different franchise. The once-fiery martial arts champion, Ken Masters, as well as the Wing-Chun Interpol agent, Chun-Li, will be joining the diverse roster of Fatal Fury as the first two DLC characters to be revealed.
Both fighters will not be arriving at the game at the same time, as Ken will be available in Summer 2025, while Chun-Li will be available in Winter 2025. It’s also important to note that there will be three more DLC fighters to be revealed in the future, in addition to the game’s already stacked 17-man roster.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves releases on April 24, 2025 for PC (Steam, Epic Games), PS5, PS4, and Xbox Series X|S.
Capcom and SNK Continue Their Collaboration
This marks to be the next collaboration made between Capcom and SNK, as it’s already been revealed that both Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui will be arriving in Street Fighter 6 as well. For those out of the loop, Terry is already playable in Street Fighter 6, while Mai Shiranui will be available in Winter 2025. Lastly, Capcom Fighting Collection 2 will be a re-release and port of the older Capcom and SNK fighting games, which will be released in 2025.
King of Fighters XV DLC Vice + Mature, Balance Patch Are Coming
It was already announced in EVO 2024 that both Vice and Mature will be arriving to King of Fighters XV. Both of their appearances seem to be inspired by their older looks, as both of them are wearing a similar style to their KOF’96 appearances while their in-game models were being showcased.
Both characters will be released in December 2024, and it was announced that the game will be having a balance patch in the near future.
SNK World Championship 2025 Announced
It’s been announced that SNK will continue to support their games’ esports scene as the SNK World Championship 2025 has officially been announced. Both KOF XV and Samurai Spirits are the titles that will be the main focus of the event. More details will be announced over time, so stay tuned!
King Of Fighters Celebrates Its 30th Anniversary!
Last August 25th, the King of Fighters franchise officially celebrated its 30th anniversary since its first iteration back in 1994.
