What once was thought as an April Fools' joke turned out to be not a joke, as REYNATIS has recently announced its collaboration with NEO: The World Ends with You for exciting in-game bonus content.
REYNATIS x TWEWY is Actually Real

REYNATIS, the highly anticipated action RPG from FuRyu, is set to launch globally on the Nintendo Switch on September 27, 2024. For April Fool's Day this year, Reynatis teased a crossover with NEO: The World Ends With You (TWEWY), initially leaving many fans parched for a dream collaboration. However, a new trailer from REYNATIS has swerved us, but in a good way, confirming that the crossover is indeed happening.
The initial tease on April Fool's Day showed stylized artworks of NEO:TWEWY's Rindo and Shoka alongside REYNATIS' Marin. In the trailer posted yesterday, REYNATIS' protagonist can be seen navigating Shibuya interacting with a few of the NEO:TWEWY cast that have been rendered in the 3D art style.
As confirmed by the game's publisher and dev, REYNATIS will come packed with crossover bonus content. The collaboration will feature characters, locations, and enemies from TWEWY, including a subquest starring Shoka who entices Marin to participate in the Reaper's Game. The Reaper's Game generally entails completing daily missions assigned by Reapers, spanning over a week. In REYNATIS, this will all be set in a special stage.
