Power Shift is a 5v5 game mode coming to The Finals arena. In this mode, two teams clash to control a central platform. The game mode is set in a dynamic environment, where the platform can be moved by objects and player abilities. Season 2 also brings hacking-themed weapons and abilities across the three classes: light, medium, and heavy.

Medium-class players will have access to the new Dematerializer ability—a tool that temporarily erases physical surfaces, like walls, ceilings, or goo to create new firing angles. Additionally, there will be a new Data Reshaper tool for Mediums which enables players to transform enemy defenses into harmless objects.

Heavy-class users receive the Anti-Gravity Cube, a deployable tool that manipulates gravity in its immediate area, enabling players to lift other players and objects upwards. Lights, on the other hand, get to wield the Gateway, a pair of limited-range deployable portals that allow players to transport other players and objects between two locations.

New weapons coming to Season 2 include the 93R burst-fire machine pistol, FAMAS burst assault rifle, and KS-23 slug shotgun. The update also introduces a glitchy neon-style city map, featuring floating geometry to challenge players' parkour skills and maneuvering.
