Dev Team Takes Extra Time To Address " Unexpected Anomalies"
S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2: Heart of Chornobyl, the highly anticipated open-world FPS by GSC Game World, has experienced another delay. Initially slated for release on September 5, 2024, the game will now hit the shelves on November 20, 2024, following a sudden push for quality control and bug testing.
GSC Game World’s Game Director, Yevhen Grygorovych, addressed the delay, stating, "We know you might be tired of waiting, and we truly appreciate your patience. These two additional months will give us a chance to fix more unexpected anomalies (or simply bugs, as you call them)."
Grygorovych further expressed gratitude for the community's support and understanding, saying, "We are always grateful for your ongoing support and understanding - it means the world to us. We’re just as eager as you are to finally release the game and for you to experience it for yourself."
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Developer Deep Dive Set For August 12, 2024
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fans won’t have to wait long for more news about the game, as GSC Game World has announced a Developer Deep Dive in collaboration with Xbox set for August 12, 2024. This event will showcase a variety of never-before-seen content, including exclusive interviews, behind-the-scenes insights into the development process, new gameplay footage, and a full video walkthrough of one of the game’s story quests.
According to GSC Game World, this Developer Deep Dive aims to give fans a comprehensive understanding of how the game plays and looks. The developers have also promised to provide more information about the event's content at a later date.
