Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds was announced at the PlayStation State of Play for February 2025! Read on to learn how to pre-order it, how much it costs, and if it has any alternate editions and DLC.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds DLC
DLC Season Pass
At launch, the game features a roster of 23 Sonic characters and 24 main tracks, along with 15 CrossWorlds that can be warped to via Travel Rings during races. The Season Pass adds more to these numbers. It includes 6 DLC Packs, which will be sequentially released after the game’s launch. These packs are confirmed to feature guest characters, vehicles, tracks, emotes, and more from various franchises.
The first wave of DLC, available in October 8, 2025, is the Minecraft Pack, which includes:
⚫︎ Playable Characters: Steve, Alex, and Creeper
⚫︎ Vehicle: Minecart
⚫︎ Track: Minecraft World
⚫︎ Remixed Minecraft music, 6 emotes per character, and additional sounds.
The second wave of DLC brings nautical nonsense to the game with SpongeBob crossover content on November 19, 2025.

The third wave of DLC, meanwhile, will bring Pacman to Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.

In addition, upcoming DLC Packs will introduce even more franchises to Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Avatar Legends confirmed to join the roster for the 5th and 6th waves, respectively.
DLC Packs (3-6) are scheduled for release through Q3 2026. Each pack will feature 2 playable characters (with the exception of Pack 6, which will include 4), 1 vehicle, 1 track, 6 emotes per character, and 8 new sounds.
Moreover, purchasing the season pass or the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game nets players the Sonic Prime Racers: Nine, Dread, and Rusty Rose.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Pre-Order
Digital Standard Edition
Sonic Racing: CrossoWorlds is now available for purchase on Steam, the Epic Games Store, PlayStation Store, and the Xbox Store for $69.99. On the regular Switch, the game is $10 less, at $59.99.
Those who pre-ordered received the Werehog Pack, which included the playable character Werehog and the Werehog vehicle "Beast Spike," and the Werehog Decal.
The Nintendo Switch 2 listing has yet to go live, but this may change once it is closer to its December 4, 2025 release date. It is known, though, that this version costs $69.99.
