Now Open for Recruitment
Silver Palace, the upcoming anime-inspired action RPG, is now open for recruitment for its live test demo. Developer Silver Studio announced on the Chinese social media platform Weibo on July 15 that Silver Palace will be having an offline demo experience event in Shanghai, China, on August 3.
Those interested must complete the recruitment questionnaire that is linked in the post, and the recruitment period will only be available until July 26. The offline demo is open to everyone internationally, with the main requirements being a Weibo account and sharing personal information for identification purposes.
Silver Studio invites those who qualify to arrive in Shanghai, China, before the event. Confirmation emails will be sent via email and Weibo private messages on July 28.
First Announced in May 2025
Fans on Reddit were shocked to know that Silver Palace will be having a live test demo, given that it was only announced on May 12. During its first reveal, the developers released a brand-new trailer with over 10 minutes of gameplay, which impressed many fans.
Silver Palace is a fantasy adventure RPG that combines anime art with Victorian style. The trailers unveiled so far include open-world exploration, fast-paced combat, and a big emphasis on detective work. The game is built upon the Unreal Engine 5, which promises high-fidelity graphics and immersive visuals.
The community is hoping that the upcoming live demo will deliver what was teased in the initially shown gameplay footage. Many also expect that with the prompt progress in development, the game will launch sooner rather than later.
With just a couple of days since it was first announced, Silver Palace’s EN Twitter account previously revealed on May 23 that the game had over 2 million pre-registrations across all platforms, showcasing the anticipation of fans globally for this new anime-detective RPG.
