Resident Evil Requiem Features a Playable Leon Kennedy

Revealed in a new trailer during The Game Awards 2025, Resident Evil Requiem showcases the return of the iconic Leon S. Kennedy as an additional protagonist. He joins Grace Ashcroft in the investigation to reveal the truth of the infamous 1998 Raccoon City Incident.

Additionally, it was also revealed that Leon Kennedy will have an action-focused gameplay contrasting Grace's survival horror focus. It brings back a similar style to the Resident Evil 4 remake, with over-the-shoulder camera, finishers, and even his trademark roundhouse kick.

Resident Evil 9 will be released on February 27, 2026 for PC (Steam, Epic Games), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
