Punishing Gray Raven x Devil May Cry 5 Event Details
Coming on August 6
Punishing Gray Raven (PGR) developer Kuro Games has finally revealed the global release date of the highly anticipated Devil May Cry 5 collaboration. PGR’s official Twitter (X) account announced on July 24 that the crossover event will begin on August 6.
This collab first launched on the game’s Chinese server on May 22, and since then, fans in the global server have been awaiting its arrival. In a Twitter (X) post on May 7, Kuro Games confirmed that the collab will come to the game’s global version.
Now that its official launch date has been established, the developers have shared details about the upcoming events that will take place during the collab, which will be called "Lamento di Phantasma."
Lamento di Phantasma Event Calendar
As revealed by Kuro Games on Twitter (X) on July 22, the Lamento di Phantasma event will start on August 6 until September. During this period, a new collab story will be featured, and accomplishing this will reward players with a free Dante character.
Furthermore, rate-up banners for DMC’s Dante and Vergil will be available from August 6 to September 18. Similar to the CN server, when players obtain these characters, an additional duplicate can be received. This bonus can be applied twice on these banners.
Moreover, 6-star weapons Devil Sword Dante and Yamato, and Netherworld Arms Cavaliere and Mirage Blades will be available to pull. There will also be limited-time character shard packs to purchase for Dante (Hunter’s Rebellion) and Vergil (Yamato’s Shadow), which contain x30 shards, 6-star Memory Resonance Material Pick x1, and 6-star Memory Shard x150. These can only be purchased once per character.
Beyond the DMC story and banner collabs, PGR will also have a slew of events happening within the update. New SFX Coatings for Ishmael: Parhelion (Ritual of Souls) and Alisa: Echo (Sandy Spectrum) will be available until September 18, alongside Coating reruns for Liv, Karenina, Vera, and Luna.
A Lamento di Phantasma version sign-in event will take place after the update until September 7, where players can get exclusive rewards such as an Anniversary Portrait, Basic Construct R&D Tickets, upgrade materials, and more if they sign in for 7 days.
Additionally, the Golden Hour 4th Anniversary sign-in event will be available until September 8. Players who sign in for 3 days will receive Event Construct R&D Tickets x2500, the main interface scene (Homeland), and a 4th anniversary collectible (Honor Medal IV).
More limited-time gameplay events will also be added in this update, including the Trial of Simulacrums, the Divine Finality Boss Challenge, Bytebite Invasion, Limited Anniversary Research Event, Limit Break, and Light in Indigo Waves. All of these events will reward players with exclusive collab items, collectibles, and more exciting in-game bonuses.
The PGR x DMC5 collab has been on the community’s radar for months, and now that its release has been confirmed, fans are excited to see their favorite DMC character in Babylonia. Punishing Gray Raven is available for iOS and Android, and its upcoming Devil May Cry collaboration event will begin on August 6, 2025.
