Pre-Registration Rewards Include Exclusive Costume and SR Unit
The cosmos is aligning, and the beacons are lit, as developer Glohow and publisher Mingzhou Network Technology announced that pre-registration has opened for their much-anticipated sci-fi action RPG, Black Beacon, on the Apple App Store this March 4, 2025. This news follows the game’s recent accolade of being featured on the Google Play Store.
"Having our game showcased on Google Play is a remarkable milestone, reinforcing our vision for Black Beacon—an Action RPG that offers depth and thrill," said Jinny Kim, CEO and founder of Glohow, in a press release. "We are excited to witness the global gaming community welcoming our distinctive world and encouraging more Outlanders to embark on this adventure as we begin iOS pre-registration."
Pre-registering unlocks a bundle of launch bonuses. Players can snag an exclusive costume for the character ZERO, the SR (Super Rare) unit Ninsar, premium currency for summoning more heroes, and useful early-game items.
Black Beacon Lucky Draw Event Runs From March 3 to March 17, 2025
In tandem with the pre-registration campaign, Black Beacon is hosting a special community event designed to reward its burgeoning community of Outlanders and amplify the excitement surrounding the game’s release. The event invites players to participate in a lucky draw running from March 3 to March 17, 2025.
Participation is straightforward:
⚫︎ Players must follow Black Beacon’s official pages on Facebook and Twitter (X).
⚫︎ Players must share the designated event post (Facebook | X)
Participants will enter a random selection process, in which ten Facebook participants will be rewarded—with five winners each from Global and Traditional Chinese Facebook pages—and five participants from X will receive the same. As per the event post, the reward is worth "US$20 or its equivalent."
Black Beacon Overview
Black Beacon was initially revealed on July 19, 2024, and has definitely caught the attention of gamers looking for something a bit different in the live-service space. Players step into the role of The Seer, the Head Librarian of the Library of Babel, tasked with preventing historical catastrophes and shielding civilizations across time—past, present, and future.
While it hits many of the same notes players would expect from this type of game—skills, ultimate moves, and a gacha system for collecting characters—its combat differs, as Black Beacon opts for an isometric perspective that goes sets it apart from the usual third-person fixed perspective of other mobile RPGs in the market.
